THE WILD is an sandbox survival game for iOS made by Toonuva Games: a two-man mobile game studio out of Burlington, Vermont.

THE WILD features an open-world sandbox island that has long since been forgetten. You're entering an old growth forest. Beware the night, beware the deformed...
SURVIVAL: Utilize the free range island to source food, water, shelter,weapons and tools. Fight for your life against the Deformed.
FIGHT OR FLIGHT:
Use stealth to evade enemies or use brute force to take them down- but if you die, you will loose everything and start over so every decision counts.
LOOT SPAWNING:
We are procedurally generated where and when loot drops so every play session is fresh and new.
ENEMY AI: Our system for enemies takes into account line of sight, sound, hostility. Hostility measures how aggressive the player is to the enemy, i.e. retaliation, trigger warring faction fights. The sole focus is to create incredible, emergent, lively gameplay.

DEVELOPMENT OVERVIEW: Features and Content of V1 THE WILD.
1. Gorgeous forest filled with lush grasslands, old growth pine, landmarks and deformed settlements.
2. First-Person experience with minimalist HUD GUI and immersive FXs.
3. Minimalist Inventory GUI.
4. Survivalist Crafting: Campfire, Bow and Arrows, Sleeping Bag, Torch, Spear.
5. Procedurally generated loot for a unique, fresh experience every new playthrough.
6. Wildlife on the island to hunt and harvest. (Deer, Fish)
7. The Deformed "runner" class with AI featuring sensors for sound, sight, light and aggression.
8. Brutal Combat with a variety melee and ranged weapons.
